Birgit has lived in the Hudson Valley since 1961 and has been employed at HRC since November of 1997.

She graduated from Marist College and has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
She first became involved with the church when she became our church bookkeeper. She has also helped in the work of the Financial Secretary. Her husband, Duncan, is active in the church, and their two daughters also share in the life of the church.
In addition to supervising office volunteers, Birgit is responsible for maintaining the church calendar, and room assignments for all the groups that use the church building.
A church administrator works for many people, and that is certainly true of Birgit. Communication flowing both outward from, and inward to, the church, flows through her. Her advice is relied upon since she knows what is going on where. She is indispensible to the minister, the staff and the members of Consistory.
